Prof. Le Fang

The Director of Sino-french Research & Teaching Center,

Research Institute of Aero-Engine, Beihang University

Beihang University, China

Biography:

Le Fang is presently professor of Ecole Centrale Pekin, Beihang University, Beijing, China. He is also the director of Sino-french research & teaching center, Research Institute of Aero-Engine, Beihang University, Beijing, China. Aiming at recognizing the non-equilibrium turbulence, he builds a bridge between fundamental research and practical engineering. New mechanism on the generation of non-equilibrium turbulence was proposed by assuming perturbations on transfer. Multiscale definitions were proposed to provide theoretical supports for non-equilibrium turbulence. New rational subgrid-scale models were proposed. It was illustrated that non-equilibrium turbulence is important in aero-engines. New turbulence models considering non-equilibrium properties were proposed to improve the simulation of corner separation. He published more than 60 SCI-indexed papers. Contributions were collected by the NASA turbulence model database, and employed by Whittle laboratory. The new model has been applied in improving the accuracy of flow flux of high-speed fan at least 15% in practical engineering.

Assoc. Baoshan Guo

Beijing Institute of Technology, China

Biography:

Dr. Baoshan Guo, (Ph.D.-optoelectronics), now is an Associate professor of School of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing Institute of Technology. He got his B Sc in Material Physics at Fudan University, Optoelectronics Doctor's degree (Ph.D.) at Institute of Semiconductors. In the field of femtosecond laser processing, the simulation and experiment are combined to study the new processing methods based on the time domain spatial light field regulation of electron dynamics. It is applied to the material impact strengthening, surface functional structure processing, cell processing and transfection, and high-quality fabrication of different material and structures. He also studied ultra-fast continuous imaging and spectrum to observe and study the coupling and regulation of surface plasmons and electron exciton, to reveal the mechanism and design method of different materials controlled by femtosecond laser, so as to realize the active adjustment of material characteristics. He has published over 70 SCI papers.
